The TERRAFLARE K762 PRO is Redragon’s full-size 104-key mechanical keyboard with tri-mode connectivity, hot-swappable switches, a TFT display, a control knob, RGB lighting and a 4000 mAh battery.

For this review, I tested the White & Blue US-ANSI version with Redragon Mint Mambo linear switches.

What surprised me most was not the screen or the RGB. It was the typing experience.

The K762 PRO feels substantial on the desk and has a noticeably creamy stock sound. For a full-size prebuilt keyboard at this end of the market, that immediately makes it more interesting than the feature list alone suggests.

Quick verdict: The Redragon TERRAFLARE K762 PRO is a surprisingly well-tuned full-size mechanical keyboard. Our White & Blue US-ANSI unit with Mint Mambo switches feels solid, sounds creamy out of the box, and has stable wireless connectivity. The screen and software are useful extras rather than reasons to buy it. Its biggest drawback is simply its size: for competitive gaming, the full-size footprint takes up noticeably more mouse space.

Build Quality and Design

The first thing I noticed when picking up the K762 PRO was its weight.

At 1.35 kg, it feels substantial for a prebuilt full-size keyboard. That weight helps it stay planted on the desk, and the overall construction feels well put together rather than light or hollow.

Our White & Blue model also looks good in person. The colour combination gives it some personality without making it too difficult to use in a normal desk setup.

This is still a large keyboard, though.

The 104-key layout gives you a dedicated numpad, navigation cluster and function row, which is useful for productivity. The trade-off is the amount of horizontal desk space it occupies.

That became especially noticeable while gaming, which I will come back to later.

Mint Mambo Switches: Smooth and Creamy

The Mint Mambo switches are one of the strongest parts of the K762 PRO.

They feel smooth in normal use, with none of the obvious scratchiness that can make a budget linear switch unpleasant.

More importantly, the keyboard sounds very good out of the box.

I would describe the sound of our unit as creamy. It has a soft, full character rather than the thin or hollow sound you can sometimes get from inexpensive full-size boards.

Sound is always affected by the entire keyboard, not just the switch. The case, plate, keycaps, stabilizers and internal damping all contribute. In this configuration, though, the combination works.

If sound is high on your priority list, the K762 PRO is much better than I expected from a Redragon full-size board.

Stabilizers

The stabilizers on our unit have also been good.

I did not notice obvious rattling or ticking from the larger stabilized keys during normal use. That includes keys such as the spacebar, Enter and Shift.

This matters because poor stabilizers can ruin an otherwise good-sounding keyboard.

Here, the larger keys remain controlled enough that they do not distract from the creamy overall sound profile.

Keycaps and RGB

The K762 PRO uses shine-through PBT keycaps on the US-ANSI version.

I like the keycaps on the White & Blue model. They suit the design well and feel good in normal use.

Because the legends are shine-through, the RGB lighting remains visible through the keycaps rather than only glowing around them.

Redragon provides multiple onboard lighting effects, and the lighting can also be adjusted through the software.

RGB is not the reason I would buy this keyboard, but it works well with the overall design.

TFT Screen and Control Knob

The display is one of the K762 PRO’s most obvious features.

Redragon uses a 1.41-inch TFT screen in the top-right area of the keyboard. It can show information such as:

  • Time and date
  • Battery status
  • Connection status
  • Keyboard state
  • GIFs or custom images
  • RGB mode and colour
  • RGB speed and brightness
  • Windows and Mac mode

My view of the screen is fairly simple: it is nice to have, but it is not especially useful day to day.

It does the job, and being able to check battery or connection information directly on the board is convenient. GIF support also gives you some customization if that is something you enjoy.

But I would not choose the K762 PRO specifically because of the screen.

The control knob is more practically useful for quick adjustments, while the display is closer to an extra feature that makes the keyboard feel more complete.

Connectivity

The K762 PRO supports three connection methods:

  • 2.4 GHz wireless
  • Bluetooth
  • USB-C wired

I tested all three.

The 2.4 GHz connection has been stable, with no connection problems during my use.

Bluetooth also worked without issue, and wired mode behaved exactly as expected.

That gives the K762 PRO plenty of flexibility if you want one keyboard that can move between a desktop, laptop and other devices.

For gaming, I would personally favour 2.4 GHz or wired mode.

Battery Life

The keyboard has a 4000 mAh rechargeable battery.

I have not completed a proper real-world battery runtime test yet, so I do not want to give you an invented number for how many days it lasts.

In general, RGB lighting and the TFT display will increase power consumption compared with using the keyboard with lighting reduced or disabled.

For now, the useful confirmed point is the battery capacity. I will update this review if I complete a controlled runtime test later.

Redragon Software

The K762 PRO uses Redragon’s Windows software.

The software is decent rather than exceptional. It gives you the basic controls you would expect, including:

  • GIF settings
  • Macro editing
  • Key redefinition
  • RGB backlight control

For this keyboard, that is enough to manage the important customization options.

I would not consider the software a major selling point, but I also did not find it to be a reason to avoid the keyboard. It does what it needs to do.

Redragon provides the user guide, US-layout software and firmware downloads on its official K762 PRO support page.

Gaming Experience

The keyboard itself worked fine for gaming. My issue is with the full-size layout, not its connectivity or switches.

I play competitive games where I use a lot of mouse movement.

Because the K762 PRO is so wide, I found myself tilting the keyboard slightly to create enough comfortable space for the mouse.

That is a common trade-off with full-size keyboards, but it matters if gaming is your main use case.

If you primarily play competitive shooters and do not need a numpad, a TKL, 75% or smaller keyboard will usually give you more room for your mouse.

If you split your time between work and gaming and actually use the numpad, the K762 PRO makes much more sense.

Productivity and Everyday Use

This is where the full-size layout becomes an advantage.

You get the dedicated numpad, function row, navigation keys and all the standard controls without relying heavily on layers or shortcuts.

Combined with the smooth Mint Mambo switches and comfortable stock sound, I think the K762 PRO works particularly well as an everyday work keyboard.

The screen, knob, wireless modes and numpad all make more sense in a productivity setup than they do in a stripped-down competitive gaming setup.

Who Should Buy the TERRAFLARE K762 PRO?

The K762 PRO is a good fit if you:

  • Want a proper full-size mechanical keyboard
  • Regularly use a numpad
  • Prefer smooth linear switches
  • Want a creamy-sounding keyboard without immediately modifying it
  • Need wired, Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz connectivity
  • Like having a screen, knob and RGB as extra features
  • Want hot-swappable switches for future experimentation

Who Should Skip It?

I would look elsewhere if you:

  • Mainly play competitive shooters and want maximum mouse space
  • Strongly prefer compact layouts
  • Are buying primarily for an advanced display experience
  • Want enthusiast-focused configuration software such as VIA
  • Need verified long-term battery figures before buying

Redragon TERRAFLARE K762 PRO Review: Final Verdict

The Redragon TERRAFLARE K762 PRO is a very good full-size mechanical keyboard if typing feel and sound matter to you.

The headline feature may look like the TFT screen, but that is not what impressed me most.

The board’s real strengths are its smooth Mint Mambo switches, creamy stock sound, stable stabilizers, reassuring weight and reliable tri-mode connectivity.

For general use and productivity, it is easy to like. You get the convenience of a full-size layout without ending up with a keyboard that feels or sounds cheap.

Its biggest weakness is also inherent to its biggest strength. A 104-key keyboard is large. If you play competitive games and need a lot of mouse space, you may end up angling the keyboard just as I did.

But if you actually want a full-size mechanical keyboard, the TERRAFLARE K762 PRO gets a lot right out of the box.

My takeaway: buy it for the typing experience, creamy sound and full-size practicality. Treat the screen as a bonus.
